Рецепт Skinny Funfetti Cake Dip
This week, I am so excited to introduce my readers to the sisters at Made From Pinterest. We are guest posting on each other's blog this week so do yourself a favor....click on over to their site and fall in love with all their amazing work.
Hello readers from My Kitchen Escapades! Debbie, Sherri and I are tickled to be here with you today.
We are three crazy sisters who make and create the things that we pin from Pinterest and then share our results with you! Some of the pins we make "Rock" and some of them are a "Flop". Our blog helps us to actually make and enjoy what we find on Pinterest, but it also helps us stay in touch with each other. We all live in different parts of the United States. We love that we can work together even though we live far apart. Besides blogging and Pinterest we love spending time together as a family whenever possible. Between the three of us we have 10 children and 3 grandchildren! On to our post from Tracy today.
This has been a very special summer for our family. Amidst all the summer fun, we welcomed our first granddaughter into the family. I went and stayed with my daughter for a week and a half to help with her recovery. Newborns bring so much joy to a family. They also bring diapers, wipes, Desitin, onesies, bottles, blankets and the blessed pacifier. People say that newborns don't do anything but sleep. I beg to differ! My darling granddaughter did her fair share of eating, burping, spitting up, pooping, passing gas and crying. Let's not forget to mention the never ending laundry and lack of sleep. I loved every minute of it and I'm counting the days until I can visit her again!
Babies also bring lots of visitors and if you have visitors, you need treats. And if you need a treat recipe you go to Pinterest!
The title Skinny Funfetti Cake Dip is one of the best oxymoron's I've seen in a long time! My daughter wanted something sweet to eat, but like any new mother she wants to get back into her "skinny" jeans as soon as possible. I couldn't resist and had to put this recipe to the "test". Can something that is lower in calorie actually taste good? A big thank you to Sweet Treats and More for the great recipe!
I am one of "those" people who happens to like just about any type of batter or dough. I know what you are thinking. Never eat raw eggs or you risk getting sick from Salmonella bacteria. I hear that from people all the time. The risk of an egg being contaminated with Salmonella bacteria is very low, about 1 in 20,000 eggs. I guess I'm a thrill seeker because I take the risk every time I'm near some yummy dough or cake batter. If you are not a thrill seeker such as myself, let me put your fears to rest. This recipe does not use any eggs! The real question is how does taste???? What did everyone think about this "skinny dip"? It was unanimous....... This Pin Rocks!!!
