Рецепт Sinabawang Talbos ng Kamote
As a non-Filipino you might find it weird that Filipinos pour soup on our rice, like how you pour milk on your cereals, if not all most of the Filipinos do this to moisten the rice at the same time add some flavour to it. For me I almost do it all the time, I love some liquid flavouring on my rice and have been doing that since childhood, I am so used to it sometimes I have hard time eating rice without any sauce or soup on it. When I was younger I always make sure before I eat I can put something on my rice, if it’s something fried like chicken, pork chops or even hotdogs I usually pour warm sweet milk over my rice (yes its sounds weird but I love it) but if it’s something grilled or if its fish we prepare this soup dish, Sinabawang Talbos ng Kamote.Sinabawang Talbos ng Kamote is a dish made with sweet potato tops sautéed in onions, tomatoes and calamansi then flavoured with either fish sauce or bagoong monamon, it’s so simple we can make it back home on demand as we grow sweet potatoes at our backyard.Sinabawang Talbos ng Kamote Save PrintPrep time Cook time Total time Serves: 2-3Ingredients1 bunch of sweet potato tops3 tbsp bagoong monamon2 medium tomatoes, chopped1 red onion, choppedjuice from 6-7 pcs calamansi or 2 lemons3 cups waterfreshly ground black pepperInstructionsIn a pot combine all ingredients apart from the sweet potato tops, bring it to a boil then simmer for 5 minutesAdd the sweet potato tops then simmer for 2 more minutes.Season with freshly ground black pepper then serve3.5.3226 Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...
