Рецепт Simply Delicious Shortbread Cookies

Ингредиенты

1 cup super-fine sugar 1 - lb. pkg. butter, softened

4 cups flour Optional: semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Инструкции

1. Blend the sugar, butter, and flour until well mixed
2. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan
3. Place a length of wax paper over the top and spread the dough evenly to the edges.
4. Remove the paper
5. Pierce the dough all over with a fork
6. Bake at 325 F for 30 minutes
7. Immediately cut into bars
8. Allow to cool
9. If desired, dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate
10. Set on waxed paper to dry
11. Makes 2 dozen cookies
