Ингредиенты

  • 1/4 lb Butter
  • 1 c. Onion, minced
  • 1 c. Shallots, diced
  • 1 c. Tomato puree Or possibly
  • 2 Tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 ounce Lemon juice
  • 2 ounce Cornstarch
  • 1 c. Celery, diced
  • 1 c. Green pepper, minced
  • 2 c. Canned tomatoes, minced
  • 2 x Bay leaves
  • 3 lb Shrimp, peeled & deveined
  •     Salt, pepper and cayenne pepper, to taste

  1. Heat butter, saute/fry pepper, onions, celery, shallots for 5 min, add in tomato puree or possibly paste, bay leaves, and simmer for 15 min. Add in shrimp and simmer for 15 min more, dissolve cornstarch in 1 pint water, add in and simmer 5 mins.. Add in lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste, add in healthy pinch of cayenne, simmer 15 min. Serve over steamed rice or possibly with creamed potatoes.
