Рецепт Sesame Garlic Green Beans
Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching, and while you might have the turkey down pat, the side dishes are a big deal, too. This green bean dish is super simple to make, looks very pro and is delicious. The flavors are quite simplistic, but this is a dish that any mom can whip up last minute. I made it for our Canadian Thanksgiving in Oct. and while I tend not to be a huge fan of green beans, these suckers were so good I was eating the leftovers out of the fridge!
Sesame Garlic Green Beans
Serves 8
- 1 lb. green beans, trimmed and cut into 1″ lengths
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 T butter
- 2 T oil
- 2 T sesame seeds
- salt
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add salt and drop the green beans in. Cook them for 10 min. or until just tender.
In a saucepan, melt the butter with the oil over low heat. Add the garlic and simmer until tender. Toss with the beans and cook another minute.
Remove from the heat and toss the beans with the sesame seeds. Serve hot, though they are pretty darn tasty cold, too!
