- Combine cornstarch, 1/2 c. sugar & egg yolks in top of double boiler.
- Slowly add in scalded lowfat milk. Cook, stirring till custard coats spoon. To 1 c. of the custard, add in chocolate morsels & stir till melted. Add in vanilla & pour into graham cracker crust. To remaining custard, add in gelatin that has bees softened in the cool water. Beat egg whites, adding 1/2 c. sugar gradually till mix is shiny & holds its shape. Mix in custard-gelatin mix. Pour over chocolate layer & refrigeratetill set. Whip cream, adding 2 Tbs sugar & vanilla. Be sure to use a 10-inch pie plate! (You may make the pie the day before serving.)
