,%20because%20it's%20absolutely%20delicious.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20idea%20is%20that%20all%20of%20the%20members%20are%20assigned%20a%20blog%20(secretly%20of%20course!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20each%20member%20can%20peruse%20their%20assigned%20blog%20to%20find%20something%20that%20they%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewould%20like%20to%20make,%20or%20several%20things%20to%20make%20in%20the%20future.%20The%20assigned%20blogs%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eare%20kept%20completely%20secret%20until%20the%20reveal%20day%20and%20time,%20then%20you%20get%20to%20see%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewho%20had%20your%20blog,%20and%20you%20get%20to%20post%20about%20what%20you%20made%20from%20your%20assigned%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eblog.%20It's%20a%20lot%20of%20fun,%20and%20a%20great%20way%20to%20discover%20new%20blogs%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Erecipes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20month%20I%20was%20assigned%20to%20The%20Tasty%20Gardener.%20I%20have%20never%20heard%20of%20her%20blog%20before%20but%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20parts%20of%20this%20club%20is%20discovering%20new%20blogs.%20I'm%20so%20glad%20that%20I%20was%20assigned%20to%20Heather's%20Blog%20because%20I%20was%20enamored%20with%20all%20of%20the%20recipes%20and%20had%20a%20difficult%20time%20deciding%20which%20one%20to%20make.%20Her%20blog%20is%20about%20more%20than%20food,%20it's%20also%20about%20gardening!%20I%20love%20gardening%20myself%20and%20am%20getting%20ready%20to%20begin%20another%20garden%20next%20month.%20I%20have%20all%20sorts%20of%20things%20picked%20out%20to%20grow,%20such%20as%20black%20cherry%20tomatoes,%20purple%20tomatillos,%20multicolored%20carrots,%20and%20veronica%20cauliflower.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20bookmarked%20a%20lot%20of%20recipes%20to%20make%20in%20the%20future%20such%20as%20the%20Eggs%20Benedict,%20Baklava,%20Strawberry%20Rhubarb%20Pie,%20and%20Asiago%20Cheese%20and%20Crab%20Dip.%20After%20consulting%20my%20husband%20(who%20would%20be%20enjoying%20the%20recipe%20with%20me),%20we%20decided%20on%20the%20Chocolate%20Chip%20Cookie%20Dough%20Brownies.%20That%20was%20a%20great%20decision.%20Heather%20wrote%20that%20they%20are%20very%20rich%20and%20she%20was%20right,%20I%20love%20sweets%20and%20could%20only%20eat%20half%20a%20piece.%20I%20also%20baked%20mine%20in%20a%20springform%20pan%20though%20and%20cut%20it%20into%2012%20pieces.%20So....they%20were%20sort%20of%20big%20pieces.%20At%20first%20I%20thought%20that%20the%20cookie%20dough%20was%20to%20thick,%20and%20I%20used%20my%20hands%20to%20press%20it%20onto%20the%20slightly%20warmed%20brownie.%20But%20after%20spreading%20the%20chocolate%20on%20top%20and%20letting%20the%20whole%20dessert%20cool%20slightly,%20then%20the%20texture%20was%20just%20right!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChocolate%20Chip%20Cookie%20Dough%20Brownies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20brownie%20bottom%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F.%20Line%20a%209%E2%80%B3%20square%20baking%20pan%20with%20foil%20and%20coat%20with%20cooking%20spray.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20brownie%20bottom:%20Combine%20flour,%20granulated%20sugar,%20brown%20sugar,%20cocoa,%20baking%20powder,%20and%20salt%20in%20a%20large%20bowl.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20%C2%BD%20cup%20chocolate%20chips%20and%20milk%20in%20a%20microwave%20safe%20container,%20microwave%20for%201%20minute,%20stir%20until%20smooth.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20milk%20mixture,%20butter,%20vanilla,%20and%20eggs%20to%20the%20dry%20ingredients;%20stir%20until%20smooth.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20in%20the%20remaining%20chocolate%20chips.%20Bake%20for%2020-25%20minutes%20or%20until%20wooden%20pick%20inserted%20in%20center%20of%20brownies%20comes%20out%20clean.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20cookie%20dough%20topping%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBeat%20together%20the%20butter,%20granulated%20sugar,%20and%20light%20brown%20sugar%20in%20a%20bowl%20until%20well%20blended,%2045-60%20seconds.%20Add%20the%20milk%20and%20vanilla%20to%20the%20sugar%20mixture.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBeat%20in%20the%20flour%20just%20until%20blended.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFold%20in%201%20cup%20of%20the%20chocolate%20chips.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpread%20on%20top%20of%20the%20brownies.%20Melt%20the%20remaining%20chocolate%20chips%20and%20spread%20over%20top%20of%20the%20cookie%20dough.%20Chill%20before%20cutting.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
