%20conservation%20information%20and%20chef's%20advice.%20%20Search%20the%20site%20by%20FOOD,%20DRINK,%20ORGANIC%20OR%20PROMO.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20products%20in%20the%20photo%20collage%20above%20were%20used%20in%20the%20Seafood%20Risotto.%20The%20carnaroli%20is%20a%20lovely%20quality,%20creamy%20but%20it%20didn't%20disintegrate%20when%20cooked%20in%20the%20risotto.%20%20%20I%20loved%20the%20big%20soft%20chunks%20of%20long%20fin%20tuna,%20quite%20unlike%20those%20I%20usually%20buy%20in%20a%20tin,%20it%20was%20much%20more%20like%20real%20fish.%20%20The%20marinated%20anchovies%20were%20soft%20and%20delicious%20and%20not%20overly%20salty.%20%20The%20Romaniae%20Terrae%20Pecorino%20caused%20some%20comment%20from%20the%20family%20who%20asked%20why%20I%20had%20a%20'roll'%20in%20the%20fridge!%20%20The%20cheese%20is%20semi-hard%20and%20has%20a%20good%20strong%20flavour.%20%20I%20found%20the%20wheat%20berries%20a%20bit%20of%20an%20annoyance%20as%20they%20are%20too%20hard%20to%20eat.%20%20I%20dare%20say%20they%20add%20flavour%20to%20the%20cheese.%20%20The%20other%20ingredient%20is%20my%20wild%20garlic%20pesto.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeafood%20Risotto%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%204-6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHeat%20the%20oil%20in%20a%20large%20frying%20pan%20over%20a%20medium%20heat.%20Add%20the%20onion%20and%20cook,%20stirring,%20for%205%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20rice,%20stir%20for%201%20minute,%20add%20a%2050ml%20of%20stock%20and%20simmer%20until%20evaporated%20then%20add%20400ml%20of%20the%20stock%20and%20simmer%20again,%20stirring%20occasionally,%20for%20about%208%20minutes,%20until%20most%20of%20the%20stock%20has%20been%20absorbed.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20remaining%20stock%20and%20repeat,%20cooking%20for%20a%20further%2010-12%20minutes,%20until%20the%20rice%20is%20cooked%20but%20still%20has%20a%20slight%20bite%20to%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20in%20the%20pesto%20and%20cook%20for%201%20minute.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20the%20heat,%20stir%20in%2060g%20of%20Pecorino%20finely%20chopped%20or%20crumbled%20and%20season%20to%20taste.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20tuna,%20anchovies%20and%20prawns%20and%20gently%20stir%20into%20the%20risotto.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20with%20the%20remaining%2040g%20of%20Pecorino%20in%20finely%20shaved%20slivers%20over%20the%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOther%20dishes%20that%20I%20have%20made%20with%20the%20goodies%20from%20UFUUD%20are%20Taragna%20Polenta%20for%20my%20Mackerel%20with%20Madeirean%20Special%20Sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20a%20little%20of%20the%20left%20over%20chocolate%20pastry%20from%20the%20Double%20Chocolate%20Tartlets%20to%20make%20some%20mini%20tartlets%20and%20filled%20them%20with%20a%20mixture%20of%20cream%20cheese,%20double%20cream,%20some%20of%20the%20juice%20and%20chopped%20up%20cherries%20from%20the%20Sun-Cooked%20Morello%20Cherries%20and,%20of%20course,%20a%20cherry%20on%20top,%20absolutely%20gorgeous.%20%20The%20only%20thing%20about%20these%20cherries%20is%20they%20have%20the%20stones%20in,%20so%20you%20do%20have%20to%20be%20careful%20of%20your%20teeth!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Cinnamon%20Chocolate%20Bar%20%20is%20rather%20gritty%20in%20texture,%20but%20has%20a%20really%20good%20chocolate%20flavour.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20little%20jar%20of%20Mostarda,%20Spicy%20Fig%20Mustard,%20undoubtedly%20stole%20the%20show.%20%20I%20just%20loved%20the%20contrast%20of%20the%20sweet,%20jammy%20fig%20chutney%20and%20the%20spicy%20mustard.%20At%20%C2%A39.00%20it's%20expensive%20for%20%20160g%20%20so%20definitely%20a%20special%20treat.%20%20It%20would%20be%20possible%20to%20buy%20substitute%20products%20at%20a%20much%20lower%20price,%20but%20it%20is%20precisely%20the%20quality%20of%20the%20products%20that%20UFUUD%20stock%20that%20makes%20them%20worth%20having.%20%20Not%20everything%20is%20expensive,%20many%20of%20the%20products%20such%20as%20the%20pastas%20and%20polenta%20are%20good%20value,%20as%20well%20as%20good%20quality.%20%20But%20there%20is%20no%20doubt%20that%20UFUUD%20provide%20an%20authentic%20deli%20experience%20and%20I%20certainly%20will%20be%20visiting%20again.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
