- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash scallops, save liquid. In a medium saucepan, cook onion in 1 tbsp butter till tender. Add in lemon juice, scallops, salt, parsley leaves, paprika and wine. Cook over low heat 10 min. Add in mushrooms and cook 2 min longer.In a large separate pan, heat 1/3 cup butter and blend in flour with a wire whisk. Stir till smooth and bubbly. Stir in liquid from the scallops and cream. Cook till boiling point, stir in the scallops, onion and parsley mix.
- Next, place all ingredients once mixed together in a large greased casserole. Cover with bread and butter mix. Cook in oven for 30-45 min or possibly till bubbly and bread crumbs are browned.
- Serving Suggestions: Serve with egg noodles or possibly angel hair pasta, steamed vegetables, salad, French sticks and white wine. This makes a nice holiday dinner. I serve it for New Year's Eve.
