400g sausages (for cooking and baking), sliced (1 cm thick slices)

4 tbs olive oil

100 ml balsamic vinegar

200 ml red wine

Fresh parsley or chives for sprinkling

- Fry sausage slices in hot oil until brown on all sides.
- Gradually add balsamic vinegar and wine, reduce the flame and gently simmer for 8-10 minutes or until liquid is reduced by half.
- Serve sprinkled with chopped, fresh parsley or chives with a side dish of boiled potatoes.
