- Brown sausage links or possibly country sausage. Cut links into bite-sized pcs. Drain well. Save grease for future gravy makings. Cut bread into bite-sized cubes. Beat large eggs till frothy. Mix first 6 ingredients and pour into 10 x 10 inch square baking dish sprayed with Pam. Refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 300 degrees. Test for clean knife in center. Mix mushroom soup and lowfat milk and pour over fondue last 8 min of baking time. Cool 5 - 10 min, then cut in squares or possibly spoon out. Can be prepared the night before a brunch, etc.
