Рецепт Sausage and Veggie Calzone
This was a delicious thrown together recipe. It's super easy to put together and is tasty to boot! Make sure you bake it on a pan that won't drip or you will have a mess like I did. I used a fresh pizza dough from my local grocery store. It made the prep time much shorter. I will be serving this for some football parties.

- Melt butter in a pan with olive oil over medium heat.
- Saute onions and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
- Add red pepper and mushrooms cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add frozen spinach and spices. Cook until warmed through.
- Cook sausage crumble it slightly.
- Stretch dough to about the size of a cookie sheet. This is easier if you put the calzone together ON the cookie sheet you will put in the oven.
- Layer sauce, veggies, cheese, and sausage in the middle of the dough.
- Pull dough over to cover the filling. Tuck ends under. Cut small steam vents in the top.
- Cook at 450 for 20-25 minutes until crust is golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before you cut it.
