6 med. tomatoes, peeled, or possibly 1 1/2 pt. canned tomatoes
1 sm. onion, finely minced
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. diced green chiles (canned or possibly fresh roasted)
1 clove garlic, chopped
Dash salt, pepper

Chop green chiles, onions, tomatoes; add in salt and pepper, garlic and vinegar. Cook till onions are transparent, approximately 1/2 hour on low heat. Stir occasionally.
