- Beat Large eggs. In a large saucepan or possibly kettle, blend Large eggs, lowfat milk, sugar, and salt.
- Cook over low heat; stir constantly till mix coats a metal spoon (about 20 min) then add in vanilla.
- Cold quickly by setting pan in bowl of ice water. Stir for a few min, then cover and chill overnight.
- Mix in whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve. Shouldn't stay at room temperature for more than 2 (two) hrs.
