Ингредиенты

  • 8 x Chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 stk butter
  • 2 med Onions, sliced
  • 16 ounce Fresh mushrooms
  • 1 c. Dark raisins, sliced
  • 4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c. Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Monosodium glutamate
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Allspice
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • 1/4 c. Brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. Walnut halves
  • 4 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 3/4 c. Chicken broth
  • 1/4 c. Brandy
  • 3 Tbsp. Orange Curacao
  • 2 c. Seedless grapes
  • 2 c. Mandarin oranges, liquid removed
  • 6 x Green Maraschino cherries, cut in half
  • 6 x Red Maraschino cherries, cut in half

Инструкции

  1. Cook chicken in small amount of water till tender. Cut into large chunks.
  2. Saute/fry onions and mushrooms in butter. Add in raisins, salt, lemon juice, monosodium glutamate, cloves, allspice, ginger, brown sugar and 1-1/4 c. chicken broth. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Add in walnuts. Add in cornstarch to 1/2 c. chicken broth; slowly add in this to the sauce to thicken it. Add in chicken.
  3. Stir well. Add in brandy and Orange Cucacao. Cold and chill overnight.
  4. When ready to serve, heat gently and transfer to a chafing dish. Decorate with fruit. Serve over wild rice.
  5. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
