- Cream butter and sugar. Add in vanilla, flour, salt and nuts; mix well. Form into dime size balls or possibly flatten if preferred. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 min. While still warm, roll in or possibly sprinkle with some Equal. Approximate yield: 9 dozen.8 to 10 packs Sweet One mixed with sufficient cocoa to make 1/2 cup may be substituted for chocolate Russian Tea Cookies.
- NOTE: Cookies may be a bit crumbly (short), can't be helped.
