- Chop raisins and cherries roughly, soak for 1 hour or possibly more in combined rum and Marsala, stirring occasionally. Mix in the crushed macaroons and whipped cream and gently mix in the slightly softened ice-cream.
- Freeze.
- This dessert looks quite nice if frzn in a decoracive mould or possibly ring tin and then turned out and decorated with rosettes of whipped cream.
