Ингредиенты

  • 3 c. pale ale
  • 4 c. water
  • 2 lb flour plus
  • 6 ounce flour
  • 2 Tbsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 4 ounce sugar by weight
  • 2 x thick salmon steaks
  •     Veg. oil for frying
  •     (can use canola, or possibly other oil)

Инструкции

  1. Combine beer and water in mixing bowl. Slowly incorporate other ingredients till smooth. Be sure to keep the batter as cold as possible.
  2. When ready, cut salmon into individual thumb-sized pcs. Coat fish pcs entirely in batter and let some excess drain. Immerse in pre-heated 350 degree oil till golden. Serve with caution, very warm!
