Roasted Turkey Breast
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 cloves garlic-minced
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1- 6 pound turkey breast
- 4 carrots
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 onion- cut into wedges
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Rub the turkey with the oil and then sprinkle on the garlic, salt and pepper to cover. Place the carrots, celery and onion on the bottom of a roasting pan. Place the turkey on top of the vegetables. Roast for about 20 minutes per pound or until the internal temperature is 170 degrees. Remove the turkey from the oven and tent loosely with foil for about 15 minutes before carving.
