%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20are%20many%20things%20come%20to%20my%20life.%20Come%20and%20go.%20Good%20and%20bad.%20New%20and%20old.%20I%20don't%20take%20things%20for%20granted%20but%20feel%20fortunate%20to%20meet%20great%20people.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20I%20was%20young,%2030%20is%20old.%20I%20now%20am%2030,%20and%20I%20don't%20feel%20any%20difference%20from%20being%20on%20late%20twenties%20yet.%20My%20friends%20said%20you%20will%20at%20some%20point.%20%20Kids%20come%20to%20a%20marriage%20life%20equation.%20I%20know%20it's%20joy%20and%20blessing%20to%20have%20kids.%20However,%20I%20don't%20know%20if%20I%20want%20them%20yet.%20I%20just%20feel%20I%20should.%20New%20ideas%20of%20doing%20and%20trying%20things%20still%20keep%20popping%20in%20my%20head.%20I%20have%20to%20tell%20myself%20to%20stop%20and%20think;%20do%20it%20one%20at%20a%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20past%20few%20weeks%20have%20been%20very%20busy%20for%20me.%20We%20have%20a%20new%20employee%20at%20work%20that%20I%20need%20to%20train.%20My%20boss%20was%20in%20town,%20technical%20Problem%20at%20my%20blog.%20All%20committed%20occasions%20that%20we%20have%20to%20attend,%20birthdays%20(there%20are%20so%20many%20Scorpios!),%20traveling,%20and%20the%20new%20gig.%20They%20keep%20me%20very%20busy.%20I%20feel%20like%20I%20need%20a%20break.%20A%20glass%20of%20wine%20before%20bedtime%20completes%20my%20day.%20Since%20the%20Europe%20trip,%20I've%20realized%20a%20glass%20of%20wine%20a%20day%20isn't%20bad%20and%20it%20helps%20me%20sleep%20well!%20It%20may%20help%20me%20build%20up%20an%20alcohol%20tolerance%20and%20I%20won't%20be%20a%20%22Red%20Lobster%22%20at%20a%20social%20function%20again.%20With%20all%20that%20said,%20the%20lucky%20part%20is%20that%20I%20don't%20have%20gray%20hairs%20yet!%20Yippee.%20Hahaha.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20apologize%20for%20not%20being%20around%20a%20blogosphere%20much.%20It%20has%20been%20hectic%20for%20me%20recently%20and%20I've%20been%20so%20bad%20at%20getting%20back%20to%20people.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo,%20this%20dish%20I%20made%20a%20little%20while%20back.%20I%20didn't%20write%20a%20measurement%20down%20so%20I%20didn't%20remember%20how%20much%20I%20put%20but%20it's%20pretty%20easy%20that%20you%20don't%20need%20a%20recipe%20for%20this.%20You%20get%20the%20idea%20of%20the%20dish%20and%20you%20will%20get%20it.%20I'm%20sorry%20if%20this%20post%20sounds%20lousy%20but%20I%20don't%20want%20to%20give%20you%20wrong%20measurements!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBefore%20anything%20else,%20I'd%20like%20to%20shout%20out%20some%20news.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst,%20the%20new%20piece%20on%20the%20IE%20has%20been%20up%20for%20sometime.%20This%20piece%20got%20an%20input%20from%20two%20familiar%20bloggers%20-%20Roxan%20@%20Kitchen%20Meditation,%20and%20Lazaro%20@%20Lazaro%20Cooks.%20Please%20check%20it%20out%20here.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESecond,%20Nancy%20@%20Spicie%20Foodie%20just%20launched%20her%20cookbook.%20Please%20check%20it%20out%20here.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoasted%20Pork%20Ball%20with%20Blackberry%20Balsamic%20Reduction,%20and%20Potato%20&%20BeetYield:%204%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:2%20pork%20balls.%20I%20got%20these%20balls%20from%20a%20farmer's%20market.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeason%20pork%20with%20salt,%20pepper,%20smoked%20paprika,%20and%20cayenne%20pepper%20on%20both%20sides.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20400%20F.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHeat%20up%20a%20skillet%20on%20medium%20high%20heat.%20Add%20butter%20and%20olive%20oil.%20Wait%20until%20butter%20is%20bubbling,%20sear%20pork%20on%20both%20sides.%20Pour%20hot%20butter-oil%20from%20the%20pan%20over%20the%20pork.%20Pop%20the%20skillet%20in%20the%20oven%20and%20bake%20for%20about%2040-45%20mins%20or%20to%20your%20desire%20of%20doneness,%20or%20the%20thermometer%20reaches%20165.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20meantime,%20heat%20up%20another%20skillet%20and%20add%202%20tbs%20butter%20and%20olive%20oil.%20Add%20potatoes%20and%20beets%20in%20a%20skillet.%20Season%20with%20salt,%20pepper,%20smoked%20paprika,%20cayenne%20pepper,%20and%20sage.%20Cover%20with%20a%20lid%20and%20let%20the%20stove%20works%20the%20magic.%20Stir%20occasionally.%20It%20will%20take%20about%20half%20hour.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBring%20a%20small%20sauce%20pan%20on%20a%20stove.%20Add%20balsamic%20vinegar,%20berries,%20and%20sugar.%20Bring%20to%20boil,%20then%20reduce%20heat%20to%20simmer.%20Simmer%20it%20until%20it's%20reduced%20by%20half.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20leftover%20beet,%20cut%20into%20match%20sticks.%20Pan%20fried%20them.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrush%20the%20balsamic%20on%20pork%20both%20sides.%20Slice%20the%20pork%20and%20drizzle%20the%20balsamic%20over.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlating:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20sliced%20pork%20and%20drizzle%20with%20berry%20balsamic.%20Add%20potato/beet%20on%20the%20side.%20Top%20with%20fried%20beet.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
