Roast Turkey ( With Cheesecloth)

Ингредиенты

  • 1 x Turkey
  • 1 stk Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika

  1. Dip cheesecloth in warm water, then squeeze out excess water. Use 2 layers of cheesecloth to cover entire bird. Mix salt, pepper, and paprika in small bowl, then rub the turkey inside and outside with the mix. Baste with melted butter. Insert a meat thermometer in the thigh (not touching bone), and cook in roasting pan in 325 F oven, basting about every 30 min. When meat temperature reaches 170 , remove cheesecloth, then continue cooking till temperature reaches 180 . Remove turkey from oven and allow to sit on countertop for one hour before carving. (One hour very important!)
