- Remove from the ovenand immediately toss in some sea salt.
- The nuts should be slightly oily so which the salt will stick.
- If they seem dry toss in 1 tsp of extra virgin olive oil with the salt.
- Serve hot or possibly cool.
- If putting to a jar allow the nuts to cold completely before putting the lid on.
- I find assorted nuts done this way are really moreish with drinks. If desired spicy nuts stir in 1 tsp of garam masala with the salt. A jar of these makes an attractive present. It is also a good way to use up bits of left over nuts especially after christmas.
