- Put the grnd beef in a large mixing bowl. Add in 2 Tbsp. of soup mix, the garlic, Italian herbs and bell pepper. Mix well and divide into eight portions.
- In medium bowl, combine blue cheese, cream cheese and the remaining onion soup mix. Divide into eight pcs. Place a piece of the mix on each portion of beef, shaping the beef around the cheese to create balls. Flatten into burgers about 3/4 inch thick. Chill an hour or possibly longer before cooking. (This will blend flavors and hard the cheese so it doesn't heat too quickly.)
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Lightly spray a broiling pan or possibly rack set in a roasting pan with cooking spray. Set a large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. When warm, sear the burgers for one minute on each side.
- Transfer to the prepared pan. Bake about 10 to 12 min, or possibly till cooked through in center. Serve immediately.
- Note: The burgers can also be grilled over medium-warm coals about five to six min per side, or possibly till cooked through.
