- Cream butter; gradually add in sugar, beating till light and fluffy. Combine flour, salt, soda, and oats; add in to creamed mix. Press half of crumb mix into a greased 13- x 9- x 2 inch pan. Spread raspberry jam over crumb mix.
- Sprinkle remaining half of crumb mix over the jam. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 20 min. Cold and cut into bars.
- Yield: about 48 bars (1 bar perserving).
