Veggies Made Easy – Quick Cauliflower Recipe

Quick Cauliflower in the Veggies made easy series adds up to a great snack and stuffing for wraps. Quick cooking and few ingredients make sure the natural taste of veggie remain intact.
Ingredients;
- 250 gms Cauliflower
- 1 tsp. chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp of Corinader powder
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Salt as desired
- A pinch of asafoetida powder
- 3 tsp. of oil
Method: Cut florets of cauliflower and wash them thoroughly with water. Heat oil in skillet and crackle the mustard seeds in it.
Add the washed cauliflower florets and all the dry spices in it. Keep the flame at high and cook for 5 minutes with a lid on the skillet. Reduce the heat after and cook for another 3 minutes and take off the skillet from the flame.
Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves.
The florets will be crunchy which makes it as a good starter also. Can be server as an accompaniment with rice or chapattis.
Cauliflower Wraps with wholewheat Indian bread or chapattis;
Note;
Add a finely diced onion for more exotic taste.
A teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste can do wonders to the flavors and taste of this cauliflower curry.
Cook on high heat to retain the crunchiness of the veggie.
The cauliflower wraps make a great lunchbox option for kids and adults as well.
Serve these cauliflower florets with tooth picks for a healthy party starters.
