8 ounce minced dates 4 ounce mixed dry fruit 1 teaspoon baking soda 8 ounce sugar 3 ounce butter

1 egg, beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla 10 ounce self-rising flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 ounce minced walnuts

Инструкции

1. Pour 1 coffee cup of boiling water over 8 ounces of minced dates and 4 ounces mixed dry fruit. Add in 1 tsp baking soda, mix and let stand. Mix remaining ingredients and add in to date/fruit mix and bake at 350 degrees for 35 min.
2. Boil together for 3 min: 2 T butter 2 T creamCool. Spread on cake and sprinkle with walnuts, if you like.
