It has been such a great fall, weather was a little abnormal, but it's been a lot of fun. For some reason though, I am having a lot of trouble let go of the tastes of fall {aka the delicious pumpkin}!

I had already made a pumpkin syrup for lattes and other drinks but being that I am a black coffee and tea drinker, I wanted a creamer for those special weekend mornings when I woke up late and didn't get out of my jambes till after noon.

Chai tea was fantastic with this creamer and not too heavy in taste that overwhelmed the tea taste. Paul had this with his ritual morning coffee and loved it. It was the perfect way to end my harvest season {probably a little too late} but I am happy to end with a delicious creamy creamer.

Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer {for Chai Tea or Coffee}

Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, whisk together milk, heavy cream, pumpkin, spices and maple syrup. Heat on medium heat, stirring frequently until mixture begins to steam. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Strain through a fine mesh seive, and store in the refrigerator.
