%20my%20favorite%20treat%20I%20would%20get%20would%20be%20a%20homemade%20popcorn%20ball%20from%20one%20of%20our%20neighbors.%20%20I%20also%20love%20anything%20pumpkin%20and%20with%20the%20pumpkin%20craze%20upon%20us%20now,%20I%20couldn't%20help%20but%20take%20two%20of%20my%20favorite%20things%20and%20put%20them%20together%20in%20this%20Pumpkin%20Spice%20Caramel%20Corn%20Snack%20Mix!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20photos%20might%20seem%20a%20little%20eerie%20but%20don't%20let%20them%20scare%20you%20away!%20%20This%20Pumpkin%20Spice%20Caramel%20Corn%20is%20absolutely%20delicious.%20%20So%20much%20so%20that%20when%20I%20got%20up%20the%20next%20morning%20and%20took%20a%20peek%20in%20the%20container%20(I%20was%20not%20going%20to%20eat,%20I%20was%20going%20to%20take%20to%20work......promise!)%20I%20found%20out%20I%20would%20not%20be%20taking%20it%20to%20work%20at%20all.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20caramel%20corn%20did%20not%20seem%20to%20scare%20Grumpy%20away%20any%20either.%20%20Ahem.%20%20The%20bowl%20was%20pretty%20much%20empty%20of%20caramel%20corn.%20%20Really%20Grumpy?!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENote%20to%20self:%20%20Never%20leave%20something%20yummy%20on%20the%20counter%20or%20anywhere%20in%20Grumpy's%20reach%20when%20I%20plan%20to%20take%20the%20treat%20to%20work%20to%20share!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBe%20sure%20to%20check%20out%20the%20delicious%20treats%20that%20several%20other%20bloggers%20made%20with%20LorAnn%20Oils%20and%20Emulsions%20by%20following%20the%20links%20below%20the%20recipe.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPumpkin%20Spice%20Caramel%20Corn%20Snack%20Mix%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBy%20Shelby%20Law%20Ruttan%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPublished%2009/24/2014%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPumpkin%20flavored%20crunchy%20caramel%20corn%20treat%20that%20is%20a%20perfect%20treat%20for%20Halloween!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20250%20degrees.%20Make%20your%20popcorn%20in%20the%20method%20you%20prefer.%20I%20prefer%20to%20air%20pop%20mine.%20Place%20in%20a%20large%20oven%20roaster%20and%20remove%20any%20unpopped%20kernels.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20l2%20quart%20saucepan%20over%20medium%20heat,%20melt%20the%20butter.%20Mix%20in%20the%20sugar%20until%20completely%20moistened.%20Bring%20to%20a%20slow%20boil%20and%20boil%20for%20approximately%202-3%20minutes.%20If%20you%20boil%20too%20long,%20your%20sauce%20will%20harden%20too%20quickly%20on%20you.%20If%20using%20a%20candy%20thermometer%20the%20temperature%20should%20be%20about%20250-300%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20heat%20and%20add%20the%20Pumpkin%20Spice%20Flavor%20Emulsion,%20salt,%20and%20baking%20soda.%20The%20syrup%20will%20bubble%20up%20with%20the%20baking%20soda,%20don't%20be%20alarmed!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESlowly%20pour%20the%20caramel%20sauce%20over%20the%20popcorn%20and%20stir%20to%20combine.%20Continue%20stirring%20until%20the%20kernels%20are%20well%20coated.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20the%20caramel%20corn%20for%2060%20minutes,%20stirring%20every%2010-15%20minutes%20to%20prevent%20clumps.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECool%20completely%20and%20store%20in%20an%20airtight%20container.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYield:%2012-14%20cups%20snack%20mix%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrep%20Time:%2000%20hrs.%2010%20mins.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
