...pumpkin%20butter..I%20think%20I%20would%20love%20to%20wake%20up%20and%20eat%20muffins%20with%20all%20sorts%20of%20fruit%20butters.%20This%20Pumpkin%20Pecan%20Bourbon%20butter%20is%20something%20that's%20so%20nice%20to%20wake%20up%20to.%20It%20goes%20so%20well%20on%20a%20variety%20of%20foods%20and%20I'm%20sure%20you%20can%20think%20of%20some%20other%20foods%20that%20it%20would%20be%20so%20good%20on%20also!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst%20of%20course,%20I'm%20thinking%20muffins.%20But%20then,%20I%20thought%20about%20scones,%20croissants,%20toast%20(plain%20I%20know),%20dinner%20rolls,%20pound%20cake,%20or%20turnovers%20(I%20almost%20made%20danish%20with%20this%20as%20the%20filling)%20would%20also%20be%20perfect.%20One%20aspect%20of%20the%20food%20this%20goes%20with%20that%20I%20believe%20really%20complements%20it%20is%20a%20crunchy%20outside.%20Most%20of%20the%20foods%20I%20just%20mentioned%20have%20crunchy%20outsides%20and%20I%20made%20sure%20that%20the%20muffins%20did%20too.%20I%20made%20cinnamon%20muffins%20with%20an%20oatmeal%20streusel%20topping%20to%20go%20with%20the%20butter%20this%20time.%20It%20was%20delicious%20but%20I%20love%20to%20try%20it%20with%20everything.%20Pancakes%20or%20waffles%20would%20also%20be%20good.%20The%20possibilities%20are%20endless!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20really%20love%20the%20fact%20that%20this%20recipe%20is%20so%20easy%20to%20put%20together.%20You%20need%20a%20food%20processor%20(or%20some%20way%20to%20combine%20it%20and%20crush%20the%20nuts,%20unless%20you%20want%20them%20crunchy)%20and%20a%20saucepan.%20Two%20dishes,%20and%20a%20spatula%20for%20scraping.%20Not%20that%20bad%20really%20considering%20you%20can%20have%20homemade%20pumpkin%20pecan%20bourbon%20butter%20in%20about%2015%20minutes.%20Maybe%20less%20if%20you're%20really%20fast,%20but%20don't%20skip%20toasting%20the%20pecans%20because%20it%20really%20brings%20out%20their%20flavor.%20Also,%20make%20sure%20not%20to%20use%20%22pumpkin%20pie%20filling%22,%20you%20want%20the%20%22pure%20pumpkin%22.%20I'm%20not%20getting%20crazy%20and%20cutting%20up%20an%20actual%20pumpkin%20and%20baking%20it,%20but%20feel%20free%20if%20you%20are%20looking%20for%20ways%20to%20eat%20pumpkin%20:).%20If%20you%20don't%20want%20to%20use%20bourbon,%20that's%20okay%20too,%20just%20use%20more%20apple%20juice%20instead%20of%20the%20bourbon.%20I%20just%20believe%20that%20the%20apple%20juice%20adds%20more%20flavor%20than%20water%20would.%20Apple%20cider%20might%20be%20great%20in%20this%20too!%20If%20you%20try%20this,%20let%20me%20know%20how%20it%20is%20and%20if%20you%20have%20any%20questions,%20please%20ask.%20Happy%20baking%20everyone!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPumpkin%20Pecan%20Bourbon%20Butter%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Lightly%20toast%20the%20pecans%20in%20an%20oven%20or%20skillet%20until%20fragrant,%202-3%20minutes,%20cool%20slightly.%20Scoop%20the%20pumpkin%20into%20a%20food%20processor.%20Add%20the%20remaining%20ingredients%20to%20the%20food%20processor.%20Puree%20the%20pumpkin%20mixture%20for%2010-20%20seconds%20until%20smooth.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Place%20the%20pumpkin%20mixture%20into%20a%20small%20saucepan%20and%20cook%20over%20medium%20heat%20for%204-5%20minutes%20or%20until%20it%20just%20starts%20to%20bubble,%20stirring%20frequently.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Serve%20pumpkin%20butter%20warm,%20or%20pour%20into%20a%20jar,%20put%20the%20lid%20on,%20and%20place%20in%20refrigerator%20to%20cool%20completely.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon't%20forget%20to%20follow%20me%20on%20Blog%20Lovin'%20or%20using%20one%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20buttons%20at%20the%20top%20of%20the%20page%20so%20you%20don't%20miss%20a%20recipe!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
