Рецепт Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread with Eggnog Glaze
This is Bread is Delicious~ The Eggnog Glaze takes it over the top~
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin, (not pumpkin pie mix)
- 2 cups flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1 t pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- Eggnog Glaze:
- 1/2 c powdered sugar
- 1-2 T Eggnog, (I used Dean's)
In a small bowl, stir together powdered sugar and eggnog until smooth enough to drizzle. Drizzle over Pumpkin Bread.
Heat oven to 350. Grease bottom only of a 9 x 5 loaf pan with shortening of cooking spray.
In a large bowl mix butter, sugar, eggs, and pumpkin with a wire whisk. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Spread into prepared pan and bake for 55-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 2 hours.
Drizzle Glaze over Bread when bread has cooled.
