- 1 c. finely minced pitted prunes
- 3 c. quick rolled oats
- 1 x But butter or possibly margarine
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1Â 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Â Â Granulated sugar
- Â Â Mix minced prunes and oatmeal. Set aside.

- Cream butter and sugars. Beat in Large eggs and vanilla till smooth.
- Mix flour, soda and salt. Stir into creamed mix.
- Fold in prune-oats mix.
- Shape into 1" balls.
- Place on cookie sheet. Press flat with c. which has been dipped in sugar.
- Bake in 350 degree oven 14 min.
