Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 c. cooked prunes, minced
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk or possibly prune juice
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 2 1/2 T salt
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. minced nutmeats

  1. Cream shortening, sugar and large eggs. Add in prunes and lowfat milk or possibly prune juice. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, salt and cinnamon; add in alternately with orange juice. Add in minced nutmeats.Pour in 2 small or possibly 1 large loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs, depending on pan size. Bread is done when it is hard to touch and stops singing when held close to the ear.
