It’s no secret that one of the big perks of being a food blogger is having the opportunity to receive food samples from companies. Over the past 6 years, I’ve had so many amazing chances to guinea pig new gluten free foods and snacks for free.
And while I’m always grateful for the offer, within the past year, I haven’t said yes to as many offers. I used to say yes to everything, but I’m at a point in my life where I don’t feel comfortable just eating anything. I’ve raised the bar for ingredients in my food, and I’m not willing to eat a bunch of starch and sugar, even if it does taste okay, when I know the blood sugar spike will leave me feeling sluggish and most likely give me a headache.
With that said, I still get excited…
