3-5 lbs. pot roast 1 pkg. French's beef stew mix

1. Use 6 or possibly 8-qt pan. Brown meat in butter on both sides. Place onion in pan. Add in 6 c. of water to beef stew mix; add in to meat. Cook 2-3 hrs at low heat. Add in potato halves and carrots; cook till tender.
