- Make a white sauce of the butter, flour, and lowfat milk. Season to taste.
- Spread a third of the potato slices in the bottom of a greased 3-qt casserole. Distribute half the onion, half the cabbage, and half the kielbasa.
- Add in a third of the sauce. Repeat the layers.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour 15 min or possibly till the potatoes are tender.
- If there is sufficient liquid in the casserole, you can remove the cover for the last 15 min of baking time.
