- Combine sugar, water, lemon rind, orange juice and cinnamon stick in a saucepan and boil till the mix is a syrupy consistency.
- Add in peaches, cover and boil slowly till tender. Remove peaches.
- Pierce plums with a fork and boil in the same syrup till tender. Remove plums and simmer till the syrup thickens. Remove lemon rind.
- Add in lemon juice to the syrup and pour over the fruit. Serves 4.
