Рецепт Pinterest Fun Friday: Homemade Clorox Clean Up
Pinterest is one of my favorite sites. I can spend hours just looking around at all the crafty and innovative ideas that people come up with. It's actually a terrible place for me to waste a lot of time. I can’t tell you how much inspiration I get from Pinterest and how many different pins I have tired. Each Friday I will be featuring something I have crafted, cooked, or found on Pinterest that I love!
Here is a great idea I found on Pinterest that I thought was worth trying... Homemade Clorox Clean Up!
I love cooking up new recipes but my favorite recipes don’t stop at the dinner table. Yesterday I was cleaning up in one of the bathrooms and realized my Clorox Clean Up was almost gone. I love this stuff and clean like a mad person with it. At almost $4 a bottle I have trouble even thinking about buying more especially when I have one bottle in each bathroom and one in the kitchen. They are all almost empty.
At almost $4 each that is going to add up quickly. I am not going to go so far as to say I am cheap, but I am certainly a frugal person. I just can’t justify dropping that much money when I originally got them all on sale combine with a coupon for little to nothing.
As I was cleaning up the bathroom my frugal mind went to work. I knew someone on the Pinterest had to have come up with a recipe for refilling these spray bottles that would be less expensive that dropping $16 that it was going to cost for me to replace mind.
It only took me a few seconds of digging to find a ton of recipes that are all pretty much the same. I deiced to give it a try and see what came of it. At this point I would even take a subpar formula to save a lot of money. Don’t get me wrong I love Clorox Clean Up but if I don’t have a coupon or a great sale I am not buying it. I just can’t justify it.
The good news is I didn’t have to settle for subpar and I didn’t have to drop a lot of money as a matter of fact I only had to spend pennies and even better I had everything I needed.
1 empty spray bottle (I used the Clorox Clean Up Bottle)
- ¼ cup of bleach (I used the store brand that cost me $1)
- 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap or laundry soap
- tap water
Directions:
To your empty bottle add bleach, and dish or laundry soap.
The fill the remainder of your water with cool or room temperature water.
Replace the lid then gently shake to mix together, and it’s done! Now you are back in business!
Give this recipe a try next time you are out of Clorox Clean Up and tell me if you can tell a difference. I couldn’t tell any difference at all. Not only does it smell the same, look the same, and clean up the same it saved me a lot of money and a trip to the store. You can’t beat that!
