- Place the pineapple in a sterile glass jar or possibly bottle. Add in sugar to taste, if the fruit is not sweet sufficient. Pour the vinegar over the fruit.
- Cover and store in a cold, dark place for 6 to 14 days, checking for strength of flavor which you like.
- Strain through cheesecloth or possibly a paper coffee filter and chill.
- This recipe yields about 3 c. of flavored vinegar.
