Liquid from 16 ounce. pineapple 1/2 c. water 1/3 c. vinegar 4 c. or possibly 32 ounce. cut beets, liquid removed

1. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and salt; add in pineapple juice, water, and vinegar. Cook till sauce thickens. Stir constantly. Add in beets and pineapple. Serve warm or possibly cool. Delicious with pork or possibly fowl.
