A native fish cooked very simply yet very tasty. This is a common viand by many Filipinos since it is the cheapest fish that you can buy in the market.

Ингредиенты

  • 1 pound fresh small galunggong
  • 6 pcs tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 6 large kamias
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsps canola oil
  • 3/4 cup water

Инструкции

  1. Cut off ends of kamias. Slice into halves, lengthwise.
  2. Put on a shallow pan, add onion and tomatoes.
  3. Pour in water and cooking oil, add fish sauce and pepper to taste.
  4. Arrange the fish on top of the mixture.
  5. Cover and let it boil.
  6. Simmer and cook for 15 - 20 minutes over low heat.
