Ингредиенты

  • 4 c. flour, unsifted
  • 1 3/4 c. shortening
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg

Инструкции

  1. Combine the flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening. Beat together vinegar, egg and water. Stir into flour mix. Divide into 4 equal portions. Place in wax paper. Refrigerateat least 30 min before rolling out on floured surface. If baking before filling, prick bottom and side walls with fork; bake at 450 degrees for 10 min. Bake till crust is golden brown. For a filled shell, bake according to pie filling recipe.
