- Mix wafers and butter and press into 9 x 9 x 2 pan, RESERVING 1/4 c. mix for topping.
- Spread 1 qt softened peppermint stick or possibly chocolate mint ice cream and freeze.
- Heat 1/2 c. butter and 2 squares unsweetened chocolate. Stir chocolate mix into 3 beaten egg yolks, 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 1/2 c. nuts and 1 tsp. vanilla. Cold thoroughly.
- Beat 3 egg whites till they form peaks. Fold egg whites into chocolate mix.
- Spread over frzn ice cream and top with reserved 1/4 c. wafer mix. Keep in freezer.
