Ингредиенты

  • 4 x To 5 pounds boneless beef brisket
  • 2 Tbsp. Instant beef bouillon crystals
  • 1 lrg Onion, sliced
  • 3 x Ribs celery, cut into 2 inch pcs
  • 2 x Bay leaves
  • 3 x Clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Whole pickling spice
  • 2 Tbsp. Coarse-grind black pepper

Инструкции

  1. Trim excess fat from beef; place in large Dutch oven; pour in sufficient water to cover. Heat to boiling; add in remaining ingredients except pepper. Reduce heat and simmer, covered till beef is tender, about 3 1/2 hrs. Remove beef; place on broiler pan. Pat pepper over surface of meat; broil 6 inches from heat source till pepper begins to brown, about 3 min.
  2. Serve warm or possibly at room temperature. Slice meat diagonally across the grain.
  3. Yield: 8 servings
