Рецепт Pecan Pie
This year for Thanksgiving my son requested a Pecan Pie. I haven't made a pecan pie in many years and I was happy to make one for him:) I had forgotten how easy it is to make a pecan pie and how delicious!
- Recipe for 9 inch Single Pie Crust
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 2 T butter, melted
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 T brandy
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- Whipped cream, optional
Preheat oven to 350. In a small bowl, combine pecans with 1 T butter and salt. Spread on a baking sheet and toast until fragrant, 8-10 minutes. Set aside to cool. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, brandy, vanilla extract and remaining butter. Stir in eggs. Add toasted pecans. Pour filling into cooled pie crust.
Bake on the bottom rack until the center of the pie feels gelatin-like when pressed with the back of a spoon. 50-60 minutes. Transfer pan to wire rack to cool.
Serve with whipped cream if desired.
