- Beat together cream cheese, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla till thick and smooth. Set aside.
- In separate bowl, beat remaining 3 Large eggs slightly. Add in corn syrup, 2 Tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat gently only till blended.
- Spread cream cheese mix in bottom of pie shell. Sprinkle with pecans. Pour egg mix over pecans.
- Bake in preheated 375 degree oven (on low rack) till the middle of the pie is hard to the touch, about 35-40 min.
