Ингредиенты

2 c. sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 c. buttermilk

2 teaspoon vanilla
2 c. pecan halves

Инструкции

Mix sugar, soda and buttermilk in a heavy saucepan and cook over medium heat to soft ball stage.
Remove from heat and add in vanilla and pecans. Beat immediately till candy begins to thicken. Drop by tsp. on waxed paper placed on a greased cookie sheet. Cold.
If mix becomes too thick before all is dropped, stir in 1 or possibly 2 drops of hot water.
