It's one of my favorite times of the year. Not because of the holidays...but because of a reason to do what I love to do best! BAKE COOKIES!
My family does have their favorites, but each year I try to create a new twist on a classic or come up with a new flavored cookie. This year, it's these Peanut Butter White Chocolate Chip Cookies. Have you tasted the new white chocolate Reese's Peanut Butter cups yet? So good. These cookies are inspired by that candy. They are rich peanut butter cookies generously stuffed with lots of white chocolate morsels and sprinkled with a bit of salt to off set all the sweetness. They are divine!
Tips for Making the Very Best Cookies!
Line baking sheets with parchment or use a silpat for easy lift and cleanup!
Preheat your oven to the required temperature...and once you put the cookies in the oven, watch them carefully. All ovens are different and cookies can bake at a wide range of times depending on your oven.
Use a cookie scoop for perfectly portioned, all the same size, cookies
Don't over bake cookies! They'll turn out dry and hard.
Let your cookies rest on the baking sheet for at least 2 - 3 minutes before removing them to a cooling rack. This will ensure your cookie doesn't fall apart when you move them.
