Ингредиенты

  • 8 x peaches, cleaned, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 ounce sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla or possibly 1 vanilla bean
  • 8 ounce pie dough
  • 1 x egg slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Инструкции

  1. In an oven proof skillet on the stove, heat the butter over low heat.
  2. Slowly add in the sugar till dissolved. When the sugar starts to lightly caramelize, add in the peaches. Toss the peaches till they are covered with sugar and warmed, about 2 min. Add in the nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Remove the pan from the heat and let cold for 5 min.
  3. Cover the entire pan with the pie dough. Brush the top of the dough with the egg and sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. of sugar. Place the pan into a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 min or possibly till the crust turns a golden.
  4. Remove from the oven and let sit 5 min before serving. Serve warm with your favorite ice cream.
