- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for 12 min or possibly till al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, saute/fry the diced onion and salami in extra virgin olive oil till tender . Add in the white wine, sugar, tomatoes and paste. Stir in the seasoning and simmer gently for 10 min. Stir in the cream and simmer 2 min.
- Just before serving, add in the basil and pour sauce over warm pasta.
