.%20%20I%20had%20planned%20to%20do%20this%20way%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebefore%20the%20holiday%20but%20had%20no%20time.%20%20Here%20the%20deadline%20is%20due%20and%20my%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ekitchen%20is%20not%20ready%20for%20Pesach%20but%20I%20have%20packed%20away%20all%20my%20baking%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecooking%20wares.%20%20My%20dilemma%20was%20how%20do%20I%20make%20this%20work.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20those%20of%20you%20who%20don't%20prepare%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20celebrate%20this%20holiday,%20I%20am%20not%20sure,%20if%20you%20can%20understand%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecomplexity%20of%20changing%20over%20one's%20kitchen.%20We%20literally%20pack%20up%20or%20shut%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edown%20everything%20from%20the%20year%20and%20bring%20in%20different%20items,%20which%20we%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Estore%20from%20Pesach%20to%20Pesach.%20%20I%20am%20fortunate,%20having%20an%20extra%20buffet%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethat%20a%20relative%20gave%20us%20and%20I%20store%20myself%20there%20and%20do%20not%20go%20into%20that%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Epiece%20for%20the%20entire%20time%20between%20the%20annual%20holiday.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20already%20cleared%20out%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecabinets,%20I%20will%20be%20using,%20and%20filled%20them%20with%20my%20Pesach%20pots%20and%20pans%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20gadgets,%20flatware,%20dishes,%20etc.%20%20I%20purchased%20new%20spices%20and%20they%20are%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ein%20place.%20%20I%20got%20lots%20of%20potato%20starch%20and%20cocoa%20and%20sugar.%20%20All%20this%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eis%20stored%20in%20the%20cabinets..%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMatzah%20is%20in%20place%20in%20anticipation%20of%20the%20week%20of%20no%20chametz%20(anything%20from%20the%20five%20grains%20plus).%20%20I%20kind%20of%20like%20not%20eating%20bread%20and%20pasta.%20%20It%20is%20a%20break%20and%20I%20appreciate%20more%20after%20the%208%20days.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBack%20to%20my%20dessert.%20%20Since%20hubby%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehas%20celiac,%20I%20bake%20with%20potato%20starch,%20the%20entire%20year%20but%20for%20Passover%20,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewe%20do%20not%20eat%20rice%20or%20beans%20which%20means%20no%20rice%20flour.%20%20There%20is%20one%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Erecipe%20that%20always%20works%20and%20that%20is%20the%20Pesach%20blondies,%20not%20very%20fancy%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebut%20absolutely%20the%20yummiest.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20it%20a%20little%20more%20festive,%20I%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efilled%20them%20with%20Pesachdik%20black%20cherry%20jam%20and%20added%20a%20teaspoon%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecinnamon%20to%20the%20batter.%20%20It%20worked.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you%20are%20baking%20for%20Pesach,%20I%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehighly%20recommend%20this%20as%20well%20as%20the%20Pesach%20brownies%20which,%20in%20my%20humble%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eopinion%20are%20better%20than%20those,%20during%20the%20year.%20%20I%20plan%20to%20post%20that%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Erecipe,%20as%20well,%20in%20the%20near-future.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPesach%20Cinnamon%20Filled%20Blondies%20(adapted%20from%20The%20Crumb%20Factory%20Blog_%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20and%20grease%202%20small%20rectangular%20pans.%20%20It%20is%20better%20to%20use%20a%209%20x%2013%20but%20I%20had%20none,%20at%20the%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20the%20sugars%20and%20oil%20and%20then%20add%20in%20the%20other%20ingredients,%20mixing%20until%20everything%20is%20incorporated.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20half%20of%20the%20batterinto%20the%20pan%20and%20cover%20it%20with%20a%20thin%20coating%20of%20jam.%20%20If%20you%20like%20it%20thicker,%20by%20all%20means,%20double%20the%20amount%20and%20use%20that.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%20about%2035%20-%2045%20%20minutes%20or%20until%20a%20sharp%20knife%20comes%20out%20clean.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you%20make%20these%20before%20Pesach,%20wrap%20%20and%20freeze%20for%20the%20holiday.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen,%20eat%20and%20enjoy.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
